RP Adds Business in Wyoming

By   /

Midwest dealer R.P. Lumber bought two-unit Wyoming dealer Build-Rite Lumber & Supply for their expansion in the state.

Established in 1963, Build-Rite’s yards in Rawlins and Saratoga, Wy., are the first for R.P. Lumber outside of their business in Illinois and Missouri.

Build-Rite will continue operations under the R.P. Lumber brand.

They will retain important team members of the company.

“This was a very important decision for our family. We wanted to make sure that our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve would be in good hands. In selling to R.P. Lumber and the Plummer family, we know that will be the case. We’re very proud of the company our family built and we’re excited to see what the future brings,” Build-Rite president Steve Olson mentioned.

R.P. Lumber was established in 1977 with its base in Edwardsville, Illinois.

It now operates 71 locations.
