ABMDA, Inc. (Associated Building Material Distributors of America) of Brentwood, California, and Lumbermen’s, Inc. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, have announced that Lumbermen’s has transferred all existing supplier rebate programs to ABMDA as of January 1.

“We are thrilled to have Lumbermen’s as the newest member of ABMDA’s group of two-step wholesale distributors. We regard Lumbermen’s as one of the premier two-step distributors, not just in the Midwest, but in the entire country,” Garry Tabor, ABMDA’s executive vice president, stated.

“Since its founding in 1955, Lumbermen’s has built a culture based on service, product excellence and teamwork.”

“We are excited to be joining ABMDA”, said Shawn Montague, Lumbermen’s vice president of building supplies.

“ABMDA’s membership represents a group of true peers in our industry. The products and brands offered through ABMDA, combined with the exchange of best practices, peer- to-peer site visits and group buying power made for a compelling reason to join this association.
