Installed Building Products Announces Two Acquisitions

General Ceiling & Partitions in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Reliable Glass & Mirror in Louisiana were acquired by Installed Building Products (IBP).

Installed Building Products (IBP), a provider of installation and building products, has acquired General Ceiling & Partitions (GCP).

GCP, based in Colorado Springs, CO, installs drywall, framing, ceiling tiles, and firestopping/insulation for commercial clients.

According to IBP chairman and CEO Jeff Edwards, GCP generates approximately $11.5 million in annual revenue and assists IBP in expanding its commercial installation services to the “compelling” Colorado Springs market.

In addition to GCP, IBP announced the acquisition of Reliable Glass & Mirror of Louisiana, a provider of glass and mirror installation services for the residential and commercial markets.

“To date in 2021, we have acquired approximately $79 million of annual revenues,” Edwards made the remarks in a prepared statement.

“Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy and we continue to have a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies, products, and end markets.”

Installed Building Products, based in Columbus, Ohio, has 190 branch locations and installs insulation for residential and commercial builders.

For builders, the company also provides waterproofing, fire-stopping, and fireproofing services, as well as garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors, closet shelving, and mirror installation.
