US LBM Acquires Higginbotham Brothers

Higginbotham Brothers, a building products dealer with 38 locations in Texas and two in Oklahoma, has been acquired by US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States.

With this acquisition, US LBM now has over 320 locations across the country.

Higginbotham Brothers were founded in 1881 when it opened its first general store in Texas.

Higginbotham Brothers now have 40 locations across Texas and Oklahoma, supplying professional builders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers with lumber and a diverse catalog of specialty building products such as hardware, windows, doors, plumbing materials, and interior/exterior paint.

Corby Biddle will continue to oversee day-to-day operations at Higginbotham Brothers as president and general manager.
