GAF Energy Opens Kansas City Sales and Client Operations Center

By   /

GAF Energy, the top provider of solar roofing in North America and a Standard Industries subsidiary, is building a new sales and customer operations center in Kansas City, Missouri.

When fully staffed, the new site will operate as a national sales and customer operations hub, employing dozens of individuals.

GAF Energy’s headquarters in San Jose, California, and the under-construction production facility in Georgetown, Texas, form the company’s third major hub.

Timberline Solar, GAF Energy’s award-winning solar roof, offers the world’s first nailable solar shingle and is the first roof system to directly incorporate solar technology into regular roofing processes and materials.

“We believe that the future of energy is solar roofs, produced in American manufacturing facilities. For solar roofs to reach that potential, we need to reach homeowners in every part of the country,” GAF Energy President Martin DeBono stated.

“Our new Kansas City office enables us to streamline our customer and project support to help achieve our goal of generating energy from every roof.”

GAF Energy announced the development of a new 450,000-square-foot production plant in Georgetown, Texas, to satisfy increased demand for the Timberline Solar roof in the summer of 2022.

The Georgetown manufacturing plant will expand the company’s capacity by 500%, bringing total solar shingle output to 300 megawatts per year, making GAF Energy the world’s largest producer of solar roofing.
