NLBMDA: At-Large Dealers Gain Payment Technology Program Through RUN Payments

At-Large Dealer Members of the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) now have exclusive access to payment solutions from RUN Payments, the association’s recommended payment technology company.

NLBMDA said the program was built for the lumber and building materials industry and lets eligible dealers join the association at no cost for their first year.

RUN Payments, led by industry veteran Dan “Rowdy” Rau, works with a dealer’s existing ERP system without interrupting daily operations, and NLBMDA says the smooth integration can save dealers anywhere from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars. The Electronic Transactions Association recently named the company its ISO of the Year for 2026.

“NLBMDA’s partnership with RUN Payments gives At-Large Dealer Members access to innovative payment technology that can reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience,” said Jonathan Paine, President & CEO of NLBMDA.

A repeat attendee of the Pro Dealer Summit, Rau has also advocated for the LBM industry on Capitol Hill during NLBMDA’s Spring Meeting and Legislative Conference since 2024.

The At-Large program is separate from partnerships Rau holds for members of NLBMDA’s federated association partners, including BLD Connection, Building Material Suppliers Association, Kentucky Building Materials Association, Midwest Building Suppliers Association and West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association.
