Simpson Strong-Tie has announced the acquisition of certain assets from PIERESEARCH, LLP of Arlington, Texas.

PIERESEARCH, founded in 1986 and acquired in 2005 by the late Stan Agee and his wife Jan, provides a variety of tested products for the deep foundation and earth retention industries.

PIERESEARCH is a maker of in rebar reinforcing alignment products, specializing in long-lasting, non-corrosive plastic rebar reinforcing alignment and centralizers for drilled shafts, soil nails, rebar-reinforced earth retention anchors, and other applications.

“This acquisition enables Simpson Strong-Tie to expand our offering of concrete products in the commercial market,” Ryan Kaelin, vice president of Strategic Market Development at Simpson Strong-Tie stated.

“By combining PIERESEARCH’s quality products with the strength of Simpson Strong-Tie sales, field support and distribution network, we’re creating even greater value for concrete construction professionals.”
