Simpson Strong-Tie Provides 100 Student Scholarships

By   /

Simpson Strong-Tie has announced the recipients of its Student Scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year, which is part of the company’s Strong-Tie Undergraduate Fellowship program.

Across the country, the 100 scholarship recipients are undergraduates in their junior and senior years majoring in architecture, civil/structural engineering, or construction management.

By assisting university students in meeting their tuition costs, the Simpson Strong-Tie Student Scholarship promotes higher education and the design and construction of safer structures.

As part of the Strong-Tie Undergraduate Fellowship, these future industry leaders have the opportunity to learn more about Simpson Strong-Tie and its products during a week-long, all-expenses-paid visit to the company’s headquarters and facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, which includes a visit to the Simpson Strong-Tie Manufacturing Facility.

“We’re proud to support the next generation of construction industry leaders through our annual scholarship program. We hope to contribute to the success of these students as they prepare for their future careers and achievements in our industry,” Karen Colonias, CEO, stated.

Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals, administers the Simpson Strong-Tie Student Scholarship.
