Carboline Marks 75 Years of Coatings and Linings

By   /

Carboline, a global leader in coatings, linings, and fireproofing, will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2022.

Stanley Lopata created Carboline in 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, and it has since developed into a global organization.

Company President, Chris Tiernay said: “Two thousand twenty-two marks our 75th Anniversary, an accomplishment we are tremendously proud of.”

“For 75 years, Carboline has been solving some of the industry’s most challenging problems.”

“We remain committed to the idea that there is always a solution.”

“On behalf of our employees worldwide, vendor partners, and customers, we look forward to the next 75 years.”

Throughout 2022, Carboline will reflect on its history and accomplishments, as well as its future objectives.

In order to commemorate this great achievement, events will be planned for both employees and customers.

These events will include “75 Ways to Give Back,” in which employees around the world volunteer in their communities and share their experiences, and “75 Red Buckets of Surprises,” in which customers send in their Carboline stories for a chance to win a signature red bucket filled with Carboline-branded items.

Carboline materials have been employed on landmark projects like as NASA’s Cape Canaveral Launch Station, Olympic Stadiums, and countless additional museums, stadiums, refineries, power plants, water tanks, and maritime vessels.

Carboline has launched over 500 products throughout its 75-year history, including brands such as Bitumastic, Carboguard, Carboquick, Carbozinc, Firefilm, Phenoline, Plasite, Polyclad, Pyrocrete, Pyroclad, Reactamine, Sanitile, Thermaline, Thermo-Lag, and others.

Carboline has expanded to seven research sites, twenty manufacturing facilities, and hundreds of warehouses. Despite its expansion, Carboline remains committed to developing high-quality, innovative products that solve customers’ concerns.
