84 Lumber to Hasten Expansion Plans

By   /

84 Lumber, the biggest privately owned construction materials supplier in the United States, currently manages 310 locations, including 234 stores, 14 component manufacturing factories, 28 engineered wood product (EWP) centers, and 34 door shops.

To grow its market share by the end of 2023, the corporation wants to open new facilities and renovate 54 existing locations.

Stockton, California, Denver, Colorado, and Greeley, Colorado are among the new locations. In addition, current stores are being relocated to larger premises in Morgantown, West Virginia, and Sarasota, Florida.

84 Lumber is opening component plants in Winter Haven, Florida, Columbia, South Carolina, Boise, Idaho, and Atlanta, Georgia, in addition to additional storefronts.

The present Atlanta facility is being transferred to a larger location in Cartersville, Georgia, and new centers will be created in the New Jersey and Boston regions.

A new door shop is coming to Denver, Colorado, to finish out the company’s enormous expansion ambitions.

“With the opening of these new stores and manufacturing facilities, we remain strong in our continued prospect for growth,” Maggie Hardy, President of 84 Lumber, stated.

“We value our customers and listen to what is important to them to grow their businesses. As a result, we are growing and expanding in two ways – opening new locations and investing in existing markets.”

“I’m immensely proud of the performance of our company over the last several years,” Hardy added.

“We have the right people, and we are supporting our associates and customers with the necessary resources to take our company to the next level. I’m committed to growing this company the 84 way and continuing to provide more opportunities for our associates.”

84 Lumber is looking to hire new associates in stores and manufacturing locations across the country to keep up with expansion.
