By   /

Beacon announced that it has finalized the acquisition of General Siding Supply, which is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and has four other offices in Lincoln, Nebraska, Grand Island, Nebraska, Sioux City, Iowa, and West Fargo, North Dakota.

General Siding has been providing Midwest contractors with building products such as siding, windows, and doors for than 50 years now. “Beacon is a fantastic place to work, and our staff are eager to join the team. Our customers will benefit from the combination of our product portfolio and experience.

“They will also gain access to Beacon PRO+ for online ordering and delivery tracking,” said Jeff Spanheimer, President of General Siding.

“This acquisition deepens our complementary building product offering and adds branch locations that expand our branch network in key markets. The Spanheimer family’s business has a long-standing reputation as siding specialists with unparalleled technical knowledge and service reliability. We are proud to have them join Team Beacon,” said Bill Sarvis, Beacon’s Regional Vice President, Midwest.

Beacon has completed three acquisitions, adding twelve branches, and has inked a purchase agreement for its fourth acquisition in 2024.
