Versatex expands distribution network through Woodford Plywood

Versatex Building Products has increased distribution through Woodford Plywood, Inc., headquartered in Albany, Georgia, and with offices in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.

“For the building-materials dealers we work so hard to satisfy, an effective distributor network is essential,” Rick Kapres, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated.

“Our long-term goal is to make access to our value-adding products seamless, dependable and comprehensive.”

In addition, Jonathan McGoran has joined the Versatex market development team at Kapres.

McGoran will be in charge of the Maryland-D.C.-Northern Virginia area.

Jonathan, 25, grew up in the western Pennsylvania hamlet of Imperial.

He was an Eagle Scout who attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a BA in business management in 2020. He has relocated to Winchester, Virginia.

“We are excited to bring Johnathan on board, and we feel he will have a significant impact on the builder-architect community, with great benefits for our dealer partners,” Versatex’s Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager, Matt Cullen, said.
