Chase Lumber joins Bliffert Lumber & Hardware

By   /

Bliffert Lumber & Hardware has merged with Chase Lumber and its three Wisconsin stores in Sun Prairie, DeForest, and McFarland.

Chase Lumber has been providing South Central Wisconsin and the surrounding area with timber, millwork, windows, cabinets, decks, kitchens and baths since 1897.

“Joining forces with Bliffert and combining nearly 2-1/2 centuries of serving the Wisconsin building industry is a huge step forward for Chase Lumber’s customers and employees,” said Valerie Stiener, president of Chase Lumber. “We know that Bliffert shares our values, particularly those related to employees, customers, and the community.” Bliffert Lumber, we feel, does all of this and more. A large firm that operates as a family-run business, Bliffert brings buying power and expertise that should allow Chase Lumber to operate as a premier supplier of building materials for many years to come.”

“At Bliffert Lumber & Hardware, we are constantly improving our customers’ construction and home improvement experiences across Wisconsin,” stated Eli Bliffert, vice president of Bliffert Lumber & Hardware. “Chase Lumber Company shares our commitment to providing excellent service and to our employees and the community.” With the addition of these sites, we will be able to provide our Madison area consumers a broader selection of services, products, and support. Combining two fifth generation family-owned lumber companies is not something that happens every day, if ever. It’s the best thing since sliced bread. We are absolutely stronger together.”
