Hood Distribution to Carry Chelsea Building Products’ Everlast siding in Maryland

Chelsea Building Products is expanding its distribution network with the addition of Hood Distribution’s newly opened Hagerstown, Maryland, location for the distribution of its Everlast advanced composite siding.

Hood is a wholesale distributor of speciality building goods with 14 locations in the eastern United States and one in the southwest.

Chelsea and Hood have expanded their Everlast siding distribution arrangement to include the Hood Hagerstown location, which will open in the summer of 2022, with this latest deal.

Hood Hagerstown will stock Everlast Lap Siding in 7′′ planks as well as the Board & Batten profile in eight different colors.

“Chelsea has been a strong business partner of ours for several years,” Allen Smith, regional manager of the Hood Hagerstown branch, stated.

“We have had success with Everlast siding at all of our locations in the eastern United States, and we are excited to make the product more widely available to builders and homeowners in Hagerstown and the surrounding regions.”

“Our goal is to make Everlast siding available to as many homeowners across the country, and partnerships with industry-leading distributors are key in doing so,” Gary Hartman, Chelsea Building Products’ vice president of sales and marketing, stated.

“We are excited to add a new Hood location to our roster of distributors and penetrate the siding market even further with our high-performance products.”

Everlast siding has been sold by Hood Distribution since 2016. The collaboration with the distributor’s Hagerstown branch began in the summer of 2022.
