By   /

On April 4, the farm and ranch retailer will close more than 2,100 locations around the country.

In honor of Easter, Tractor Supply Company announced that all of its stores, as well as its Petsense retail outlets, would be closed on April 4th.

The store, which has over 2,100 stores across the country, has a long history of staying closed on holidays.

Tractor Supply’s president and CEO, Hal Lawton, stated “For many years, we have chosen to close our stores on Easter Sunday, and we’re continuing the tradition this year with our Tractor Supply and Petsense stores,”

Tractor Supply has 1,923 stores in 49 states. In 25 states, there are 182 Petsense locations.

“Our appreciation goes out to all of our Team Members for their hard work to meet our increased customer demand and passion for the Out Here lifestyle.” Lawton continued.

The Brentwood Tennessee-based company announced last month that it would expand by acquiring 167 Orscheln Farm & Home stores across 11 states.
