KOVA Introduces First-Rate Vinyl Window Series

By   /

Katerra has introduced a new series of first-rate vinyl windows to the KOVA brand of construction products for customers in the industry.

The windows are made in Katerra’s Tracy, Calif., facility. This enables the company to improve its quality control, reduce waste, and decrease lead times.

“We set out to build windows that meet our own project requirements, so KOVA invested in industry expertise and cutting-edge manufacturing equipment to create a product that delivers great design and efficiency for the entire building envelope,” says Greg Lambas, senior director for windows development at KOVA.

The product comes in different custom sizes and configurations which includes picture windows, horizontal slider windows, and a two-panel sliding patio door that has a dual-point Mortise lock system.

The profiles are made from durable and reinforced vinyl, and have a warm edge spacer, water intrusion protection, and argon gas insulation.

“KOVA Windows can go toe-to-toe, or even outdo, the competition on structural, thermal, and acoustic performance with manufacturing lead times as low as one week,” Greg Lambas continues.

Specifiers have the option to select one of three performance tiers for KOVA Windows, which are:

  • Performance
  • Performance Plus
  • Performance Select

These tiers pass performance requirements for Energy Star 6.0.

The interior vinyl comes in white, gray, clay or tan.

The exterior laminate comes in midnight, bronze, and silver.
