Simpson Strong-Tie Collaborates with Hundegger to Support American Mass Timber Market

Simpson Strong-Tie and Hundegger have announced a joint indirect investment in their North American sales and service representative partner, Hundegger USA, LC.

“We have known and worked with Hundegger for many years and are excited to build on our long-standing relationship,” said Roger Dankel, Simpson Strong-head Tie’s of North American Sales.

“This strategic investment will strengthen our joint growth and success in the mass timber and component manufacturing markets by offering North America customers end-to-end solutions, including integrated software from a single source.”

Simpson Strong-Tie contributes decades of innovative construction materials, extensive testing skills, and integrated technology solutions to the investment, according to a news statement.
Hundegger has extensive industry knowledge as well as unrivaled expertise in high precision production.

“Offsite wood construction is on an upward trajectory,” Steve Shrader, business development for Hundegger USA said.

“The agreement with Simpson will not only enable us to expand deeper into offsite options and wood connectors, but it will also greatly benefit our customers by delivering a one-stop-shop of high-quality products, machinery, and software solutions.”
