Arauco Gets Carbon Neutral Stamp of Approval

Arauco is the world’s first forestry company to get carbon neutral certification.

This means that, at a global level, the company’s carbon dioxide captures are greater than its emissions, which in addition to being a significant contribution and real step forward to address the climate crisis, it positions Arauco as the world’s first forestry company to meet this important goal.

Price Waterhouse Coopers audited the carbon capture process of forests and its storage in forest products.

Deloitte then created a neutrality code. This was used for the verification of Arauco’s global operation.

Other businesses and industries can send in their application to get certified.
